We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services Team in our Boston office on a flexible hybrid basis.
Job Responsibilities
Technical planning and advising of high-net-worth clients that include high-profile individuals/families, as well as high their associated private entities (including C-Corp, S-Corp, Trusts, and Partnerships)
Trusted advisor and role model for your clients and our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues.
Ensure timely filing of all client-related tax returns and documents.
Respond to federal and state tax notices that impact clients, and represent clients in any potential tax audit.
Personally coach and develop a highly trained team, all while handling activities with a focus on quality and commercial value.
Manage multiple Estate, Gift and Fiduciary client tax engagements simultaneously.
Review complex estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and fiduciary (Form 1041) income tax returns, including related tax schedules, forms and fiduciary accounting documents.
Building effective long-term relationships with our clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax
5+ years of technical tax experience in public accounting
Strong experience with individual taxation (high net worth)
CPA or EA certification required
Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Familiarity and willingness to perform all types of tax work from entity to individual
Ability to manage multiple high-level work simultaneously
Ability to translate complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables
Developed public accounting management experience

Pay Range:
The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range do not include benefits and bonus potential, and are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
$120,000.00 - $145,000.00
