Equipment Technician, Wet Etch – Tower Semiconductor
As part of the Equipment Engineering Service team in Newport Beach, CA, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, installation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of Wet Etch tools and support equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform technical servicing of semiconductor Wet Etch tools and support equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on semiconductor Wet Etch tools and support equipment
Monitor and recommend spare parts inventory levels for related tool sets
Competent in the use of test equipment including test meters, hand tools, and power tools
Possess excellent customer interfacing and communication skills
Follow maintenance and safety procedures
Leadership role in setting a high standard of ownership within the group
Train on semiconductor production equipment
Requires minimal management supervision to perform daily routines once trained
Job Requirements
Requires an AS degree (Military or Trade School with an emphasis in electronics/mechanical may substitute for AS degree) and prior experience in mechanical, electrical or automotive technical fields
Experience in the Semiconductor equipment industry is preferred
Working experience with the following toolsets is a plus: Akrion Rear Mount and GAMA, SCREEN DNS SU-2000 and FC-821L, SEZ 223 and 4200, FSI Mercury, LAM Sabre NeXT
Wage Band $28/hr - $34/hr
