About the Opportunity This is an opportunity for a sharp, proactive, and ultra-organized Director of Operations/Broker Assistant to support a top-producing agent and their high-performing team at Compass. This role is 90% dedicated to directly supporting the Team Leader and is critical to keeping the business running smoothly across listings, marketing, scheduling, client care, and operations. You’ll be the right hand to a high-volume agent—someone who loves logistics, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance meticulous attention to detail with a calm, low-key demeanor.
MUST HAVE 2-5 years of NYC RESIDENTIAL RE SALES Experience (Co-Ops/Condos)

Backed by the Compass brand’s tech-forward tools and national reach, the team operates with integrity, professionalism, and a drive for results.
Role & Responsibilities Calendar & Scheduling
Manage and organize the Team Leader’s calendar, including all showings and appointments
Coordinate and manage team-wide calendars and showing schedules
Listing & Transaction Management
Prepare and upload listing agreements and documentation
Handle transaction coordination from start to finish—including liaising with attorneys, CPAs, agents, and managing agents
Compile documentation and complete board packages
Manage & know the status of listings from on the market to in contract up until closing
Marketing & Presentation
Prepare all property listing materials: listing presentations, show sheets, postcards, and digital campaigns
Coordinate with Compass Marketing Department and external vendors
Conduct targeted postcard mailings
Client Service & Communication
Provide outstanding customer service to clients and internal teams
Triage and respond to calls and emails with sound judgment and discretion
Coordinate open houses, client events, and thoughtful gift deliveries
Team & Operations
Maintain and update CRM, mailing lists, and online profiles
Track sales and run forecasts, projections, and comparative market analysis (CMA)
Manage team expenses and budget tracking
Create weekly and monthly reports for listings and team performance
Meet with team members regularly to ensure alignment
Assist with occasional personal assistant tasks for the Team Leader
Qualifications
Experience in NYC residential real estate - 2-5 years in an agent/supportive/operations role; would consider a seasoned agent IF they are very organized/skilled
Meticulous attention to detail with a love for checklists and order
Excellent communication skills—professional, warm, and responsive
Ability to multitask under pressure while remaining calm and focused
Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and sees tasks through
Tech-savvy: Excel, Google Workspace, DocuSign, CRM platforms, and social media tools
Comfortable supporting a dynamic leader with evening/weekend availability as needed
Compensation and Hours $80,000–$100,000 (W2 via Checks & Balances)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM in office, with evening/weekend availability for check-ins (respond within 2 hours max)
