What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform routine high complexity analyses and interpretations of flow cytometry dot plots for leukemia/lymphoma specimens
Conduct quality assurance and quality control documentation
Operate necessary equipment and prepare samples for testing
Prioritize samples according to established policies
Assist in training laboratory personnel and participate in required Continuing Education activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience
Experience in Flow Cytometry analysis
High level of attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to pass a standardized color vision screen
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA), or SCYM(ASCP) certification
Familiarity with laboratory information systems
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed
