Principal Software Engineer/Developer

Position Description: Develops web applications using TypeScript 4.0+, JavaScript, and Angular 11+. Defines, maintains, and supports Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) development using Spring/Spring Boot framework and ORM frameworks -- MyBatis and Hibernate. Builds and deploys applications in a DevOps environment using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- GitHub, Maven, and Jenkins. Develops and designs databases using PL/SQL and T-SQL. Provides Docker and Kubernetes containerization using Helm, ConfigMaps, and YAML. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.Primary Responsibilities: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) building and delivering enterprise solutions across healthcare, hospitality, travel, logistics, and Web-based application domains, using Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Javascript, and the Cloud.Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) building and delivering enterprise solutions across healthcare, hospitality, travel, logistics, and Web-based application domains, using Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Javascript, and the Cloud.Skills and Knowledge: #J-18808-Ljbffr
