The Opportunity CACI is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Development Team on the All Spark program. You will support our client with design, creation, deployment, and maintenance of multiple ServiceNow applications. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will play a key role and serve as a trusted adviser to client.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, SPM, CMDB, ITOM/ITAM, CSM, ATF, DevSecOps, Service Portal, custom application development, etc.
Help develop code, unit test, hold code reviews, check in code, and build the code pipeline for continuous integration/continuous delivery.
Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate roll out of new applications and modules and configure application UI, workflow, and API.
Create, maintain configuration management on the ServiceNow platform in all environments.
Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
Plan data ingestion from different legacy sources, make design decisions on that data, and reconcile data based on the chosen authoritative source.
Revolutionize and reimagine ServiceNow Service Portal Implementation by leveraging customizations, widget capabilities.
Leverage UI policies, UI actions, and client scripts.
Develop applications and modules using scripted REST APIs and customized notifications, approvals, and inbound email actions.
Coordinate with multiple departments within and outside of the customer’s organization to accomplish project tasks.
Independent self-starter and proactive at developing solutions and solving business problems using ServiceNow.
Work in an Agile Team creating/using stories and other Agile and/or SAFE applications within ServiceNow.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
Security+ certified or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of start date.
Minimum 7 years of technical experience.
Extensive development experience with JavaScript programming language and how it applies to ServiceNow, along with ServiceNow Glide.
Understanding best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management.
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners.
Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Scrum and Agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation.
Desired
ITIL 4 certification
ServiceNow developer certification, preferably Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Graphics design or UX/UI design experience.
Experience in HTML/CSS and Jelly scripting.
Other web based development experience using Angular, React and/or Python.
