The Opportunity
CACI is seeking a Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in Laurel Maryland. In this role, you'll lead critical projects, manage cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to missions that matter.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze system requirements, breaking them down into achievable milestones. Lead a small team, prioritizing tasks and managing customer expectations. Configure and deploy networking switches. Research and implement system management and deployment solutions. Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters. Set up, maintain, and improve clusters for various projects. Work with tools such as Docker, Rancher, Slurm, and Puppet. Secure systems to meet hardening and compliance requirements. Optimize networking for clusters. Collaborate with vendors on upgrades and hardware improvements.
Qualifications
Required:
15+ years of experience as a Network/Infrastructure Engineer and System Administrator in Linux environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong leadership and project management skills. Expertise in cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies. Proficiency in network security and system hardening.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
