Full-Time . This is your chance to focus your expertise on diagnostic imaging crucial to orthopedic diagnoses and treatment. You will be responsible for performing
specialized and difficult diagnostic imaging examinations
using ionizing radiation to produce optimum images. Your work directly supports our physicians, providing essential insight into patient conditions. Key Functions Include: Diagnostic Precision:
Select and operate radiography equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic exams, ensuring proper patient positioning for optimal anatomical clarity. Image Analysis & Collaboration:
Conduct preliminary analysis on images and
collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
to interpret results, providing critical support to the diagnostic process. Radiation Safety Champion (ALARA):
Strictly apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and yourself, utilizing appropriate shielding and techniques. Patient-Centered Care:
Provide comprehensive patient education and preparation, ensuring they are comfortable and fully understand the procedure and post-procedural instructions. You will deliver attention and concern for the physical, psychological, and age-specific needs of every patient. Documentation & Integrity:
Maintain accurate patient records, corroborate clinical history with procedures, and ensure all patient documentation is correctly recorded in the EMR/PACS system. Team Support:
Actively participate in the instruction and orientation of new coworkers and students, sharing your expertise and contributing to department performance improvement activities. What You'll Bring: Required Certification:
Must hold a valid
Radiologic Technologist
license/certification. Experience:
1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience is preferred. Skills:
Exceptional proficiency in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, effective communication with all stakeholders, and the ability to perform basic life-sustaining actions in an emergent situation. Professionalism:
