Thursday: 09:30 PM – 06:00 AM
Friday: 09:30 PM – 06:00 AM
Saturday: 09:30 PM – 06:00 AM
Sunday: 09:30 PM – 06:00 AM
What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security‑related presence
Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift
Adhere to all site‑specific protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with security‑related inquiries and provide directions as needed
What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required
Must be at least 21 years of age
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
