What it's about
Within the Liquid Credit team, we are now looking to add an investment professional focused on CLO Debt and equity tranches in our London or New York office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the existing CLO debt and equity investment and portfolio management team in analyzing investment opportunities in European and US CLOs across the junior part of the capital structure and monitoring investments in the portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the sourcing, analysis and underwriting of new issue and secondary CLO investment opportunities
Review CLO structures and documentation. Undertake relative value analysis and make trading recommendations consistent with the existing investment process
Present investment recommendation to the investment committee
Monitor performance of investment in the portfolios and recommend strategy on existing exposures and assist with risk management in the portfolios
Interact with structurers, sell-side CLO sales and trading teams and other CLO managers
Support the development of marketing material for fundraising prospects
Support the CLO Management team in identifying trends in the CLO market
What we expect
5-10 years of experience analyzing CLO debt and/or equity, ideally in both European and US CLO markets. Familiarity with the underlying leveraged loan market a plus
Demonstrable strong understanding and experience of the CLO product and market, its investors, managers and dynamics
Knowledge and understanding of CLO structures and documentation
Ability to flex both upwards and downwards to coordinate the investment process and ensure highest quality of execution
Positive, proactive attitude with genuine enthusiasm for structured credit markets
Strong desire for professional development and career growth within the organization
Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team‑oriented, supportive environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adaptability and eagerness to take on additional responsibilities
Some travel required between US and Europe
