What it's about
Partners Group operates a leading private debt business platform with USD 38 billion of assets under management (as of June 30, 2025) including over USD 7 billion AUM in US CLOs. In this position, you will be an integral member of the rapidly growing Liquid Credit team.
We are looking for a CLO structuring Senior Associate to join our highly successful and growing Liquid Credit business. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the growth of our US CLO platform, CLO equity vehicles and related CLO warehouse vehicles. This position will involve working closely with the Structuring team, CLO PM team, operations team as well as external counterparties, to ensure seamless operations.
The person hired for this role will:
Assist with issuance of Partners Group managed CLOs. Direct modeling activities for new issues, refinancings, and resets. Liaise with structuring / placement agent to help manage this process during entire life cycle
Help drive PG issuance pipeline through analysis of existing and new transactions
Assist with any RFPs and due diligence questionnaires as part of the CLO marketing process
Coordinate interactions with third parties, including rating agencies, legal counsel, and potential investors during stip negotiations.
Review CLO indentures and interpret impacts document terms may have on CLO cash flow models
Follow CLO market trends, levels, and participants to help guide future structuring decisions
Participate in the management of PG CLO Equity Funds
Support CLO tranche investing efforts in the US
Support other initiatives in Private Credit on an as needed basis
What we expect
The ideal candidate should have:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in economics, finance or business
Experience working at a sell side bank, rating agency, valuation provider, or one of the big four accounting firms
Up to 5-7 years of experience in CLOs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential
Willingness to learn and to take on responsibilities
Flexibility on work hours when supporting or backing-up colleagues, as requested
