Job Description: The Property Accountant will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining financial records for multiple properties. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and experience in property or real estate accounting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment and have a proactive approach to problem solving.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes for assigned properties. Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and tenant accounts on a regular basis. Record journal entries for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and depreciation. Assist in preparing month-end and quarterly reporting packages for ownership and management teams. Review lease terms to ensure proper accounting for rent escalations, reimbursements, and CAM charges. Collaborate with property management and leasing teams to resolve accounting discrepancies. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis. Provide audit support and prepare necessary documentation for external reviews. Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and internal accounting procedures. Perks: Exposure to a highly respected real estate organization.
