has been operating since 1982, delivering fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users located in the Midwest region. The position of Sanitation Associate requires the individual to maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and office areas. As a Sanitation Associate, you will be responsible for performing sanitation duties in Bartlett, IL, on the 1st shift.
Essential Functions:

Perform sanitation duties for the warehouse and office spaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming
Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials properly
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
Check and notify management of pest issues
Assist in chemical supply inventory
Notify any safety hazards or maintenance issues to Management
Complete and maintain required cleaning logs and records accurately and promptly
Perform work in accordance with established SSOP’s (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures)
Regularly inspect outdoor areas and remove weeds from flower beds, walkways, parking lots, and other landscaped areas to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
Collect and remove trash debris from assigned areas, including workspaces, break rooms, parking lots, and outdoor grounds.
Maintain regular and satisfactory full-time attendance
Perform work outside of normal business hours as required
Perform special projects as assigned by the Sanitation Manager – Get Fresh Produce, LLC
Qualifications:

Excellent time management skills
High school diploma or GED
1 – 2 years of experience in sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning roles within industrial, manufacturing, or food processing settings
Familiar with Food Safety procedures
Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals
Must be able to read, speak, and write English satisfactorily, bilingual a plus
Physical Demands:
Frequently carry, push/pull, and lift up objects up to 50lbs
Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
Repetitive motions may be required, including scrubbing, climbing, or reaching above the shoulders
Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
Work Schedule:

Monday through Saturday. Sunday and 1 day during the week off
6:00am – 9:00am start times until the work is completed
Holidays and some Sundays are required
Bartlett, IL location, this is an in-person position

Compensation:
Hourly, Non-Exempt $16.00/hour
