Job Summary
Director of Accounting – Lead the Ticketmaster North America Accounting group to ensure flawless accounting, SOX compliance, and balance‑sheet reporting for Live Nation Entertainment’s global ticketing business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily and month‑end corporate accounting activities, including cash and bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, prepaids, intangibles, leases, loans, investments, and accrued liabilities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual divisional balance‑sheet schedules to support the consolidated financial close.
- Lead quarterly and annual SOX and financial audits, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and maintain audit documentation.
- Prepare and review SOX disclosure packages for the Live Nation 10‑Q/10‑K reporting process and develop annual SOX narratives and process maps.
- Develop and maintain accounting procedures to ensure internal control compliance.
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of accountants, driving their career development and fostering a supportive work environment.
- Participate in ERP financial system transformation projects and special initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance and other functional teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and increase efficiency.
- Create ad‑hoc schedules and reports as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification (preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing SOX and financial audits.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with business‑intelligence tools such as Cognos, Domo, or Tableau.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a high‑volume, accuracy‑critical environment.
- Excellent analytical, multi‑tasking, and detail‑oriented skills.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to process improvement.

Compensation
$144,000.00 USD – $180,000.00 USD per year, depending on location and experience.
