Overview
Finnegan’s Electrical and Computer Technology litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) teams continue to grow and are seeking mid‑level to senior litigation associates with experience in computer hardware and software in our Boston office.
Successful candidates must have 4‑6 years of solid experience in patent litigation and inter‑partes review (IPR) proceedings before the PTAB, at least 4 years of solid litigation experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and exceptional writing skills. USPTO registration number is preferred.

4‑6 years of patent litigation experience, including IPR proceedings before the PTAB
Minimum 4 years of solid litigation experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Exceptional writing skills
USPTO registration number preferred
Compensation and Benefits The base annual pay range for this role is between $310,000 and $390,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location, and will also take into account internal equity. A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits will also be offered.
