Banner Children’s Specialists (BCS) is actively recruiting a Child Neurologist to serve on either the Banner Desert Medical Center campus in Mesa or the Banner Thunderbird Medical Center campus in Glendale, Arizona. This role joins the BCS Neurosciences Division, which provides inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology care to a growing community of patients and families.
Essential Functions and Qualifications The team seeks a BC/BE pediatric neurologist to become an active member of the pediatric neurology clinical care team. Responsibilities include general pediatric neurology practice and participation in the Division’s subspecialty programs such as epilepsy, developmental delays, headaches, tics, neurogenetics, concussion, and trauma. The role collaborates closely with neuropsychologists, neurosurgeons, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality neurology care to the community.
Graduate of or finishing an accredited residency or fellowship program in Pediatric Neurology.
Eligibility for credentialing as part of Banner Children’s Specialists (BC/BE Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology), an active Arizona license or the ability to obtain one, and current DEA registration.
Interest in general child neurology plus additional interest or training in specific subspecialty areas such as headaches, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, neonatal or neurodevelopmental neurology is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team setting and communicate effectively.
Finishing residents, fellows, and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.
