Overview
Banner Childrens Specialists (BCS) is seeking a full‑time Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our growing program in Mesa, AZ. We are looking for a candidate who would like to join our established team of two physicians and one nurse practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in working in a high‑volume environment with a supportive leadership team. Pediatric specialty teams work closely with Gastroenterology, Sleep Medicine, Neurosurgery, Hematology/Oncology, and Cardiology.
Position Details
Inpatient and outpatient coverage
7 shifts of call per month, including one weekend
Full range of pediatric subspecialties to work with
Strong organizational support
Minimum Qualifications
Board‑certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology

About Banner Children at Desert Serving a pediatric population of 350,000+, Banner Children at Desert (BDMC) in Mesa is a state‑of‑the‑art, 206‑bed children’s hospital that opened in November 2009. It is part of Banner Desert Medical Center, one of the largest comprehensive facilities in Arizona, serving the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix. BDMC offers a Level 3 NICU staffed by neonatologists around the clock, a Level II pediatric trauma center, and a range of integrative therapy programs. Patient care is complemented by child‑friendly environments, play therapy zones, and a volunteer dog therapy program, all designed to inspire healing, learning, and imagination.
