The department provides clinical services for patients of all ages in various settings including Family Health Centers, senior health centers, skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient services. Responsibilities

Provide clinical expertise and leadership while assisting in the development, monitoring, and presentation of internal quality measures and initiatives.

Coordinate, track, and report clinical outcomes, lead submission of annual UDS and HRSA reports, and ensure timely completion of corrective action plans related to quality.

Lead and participate in Quality Improvement meetings, ensure implementation of QI/QA operating procedures, and update QI/QA procedures.

Review incident reports from SQIS and patient grievances, contribute to investigations, and collaborate on root‑cause analyses.

Attend QIP meetings with Population Health and Value Based Care to assist in meeting Medi‑Cal QIP quality measures and advise on measures overlapping with UDS.

Provide grant writing support and clinical metric reporting for progress and post‑grant reporting.

Qualifications

Family physician, board‑certified with full‑scope ambulatory health care services, including care of children, adults, and the elderly.

Experience in pre‑natal care and overseeing family/pediatric services.

Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and communicate with faculty, residents, staff, and peers.

Proficiency in Spanish (preferred).

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution, completion of Family Medicine residency, and board certification in Family Medicine.

California medical license.

Compensation & Benefits Expected Annual Salary Range:

$237,000.00–$290,000.00
