Certified Medical Assistant – Neurology Tampa, FL Full-Time | Direct Hire Join a Specialty Team That Makes a Difference We’re seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our Neurology practice in Tampa, FL. What You’ll Do Room and prepare patients for neurology visits and procedures Record vitals, review medical histories, and maintain accurate EMR documentation Assist neurologists with procedures such as EMGs, EEGs, nerve conduction studies, and Botox injections Educate patients on diagnostic tests, follow-up instructions, and care plans Support medication administration, specimen collection, and lab coordination Manage patient communications, scheduling, and documentation efficiently Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and infection control standards Collaborate daily with physicians, nurses, and fellow MAs to ensure smooth clinic operations What We’re Looking For Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) Previous experience in Neurology, Internal Medicine, or other specialty care preferred Proficiency in clinical tasks including vitals, injections, and assisting with procedures Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Compassionate and professional approach to patient care Benefits & Perks Competitive pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits package — Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Retirement Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay Tuition reimbursement and ongoing career development opportunities No nights or weekends — enjoy work-life balance in a supportive, team-oriented environment
