Overview Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst to provide business system support for enterprise-wide Revenue Cycle initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in medical coding and the technical skills to bridge Revenue Cycle operations and IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business needs and document system requirements
Implement and optimize Revenue Cycle applications and workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across system interfaces
Review and recommend best practices for new application functionality
Work with user community to define business requirements in sufficient detail that systems configuration, development/enhancement, and/or operations activities can be pursued
Coaches user community, in coordination with Instructional Designers, on the proper and effective use of application systems
Supports all applications in use by the Revenue Cycle, with expert knowledge in at least one of the applications supported
Acts as primary liaison between the application team and the user community, responsible for facilitating communications, coordinating system requests, and managing regulatory updates
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with medical coding and a nationally recognized coding credential (e.g., CPC-H, CPC-P, CCS, CCS‑P, RHIT)
Tech‑savvy and comfortable with system administration tasks, including HL7 interface familiarity
Can operate with minimal reliance on IT support – ideally someone who understands both the technical and operational sides of Revenue Cycle
Application or system admin experience, especially in environments where cross‑functional troubleshooting is common
Balance of coding knowledge and technical fluency without leaning too heavily into clinical or healthcare administration backgrounds
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Health Administration, Nursing, or other clinically oriented positions (6 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in a healthcare organization’s Revenue Cycle
Critical thinking and extreme attention to detail requiredExperience in ICD‑9, ICD‑10, CPT‑4, and HCPCS coding strongly preferred
Fundamental understanding of hospital Chargemaster

Remote work from home: this job is intended to be conducted in the state of New Mexico
Work hours: Days
Compensation Base pay range $27.92/hr – $42.63/hr. Maximum offer up to USD $42.63/hr.
