Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Tech Advisory Consulting Manager

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology strategy, IT project management, and business process analysis. As a Tech Advisory Consultant Manager, you will work closely with clients to assess their technology needs, develop tailored solutions, and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives.

Service Offerings IT Due Diligence

Assess the current state of IT and provide key recommendations for post‑investment execution.

Key assessment areas: IT spend, organizational structure, business applications, security, infrastructure, and capacity.

IT Strategy Roadmaps

Uncover key business objectives, assess the current IT state, and outline a multi‑year strategy of many initiatives to drive results.

Assess risk and potential business impact of each project and create a phased approach for implementation.

IT System Selection

Guide companies through the process of making critical IT decisions.

Uncover business requirements, research potential providers, assess alternative vendors, and build consensus around the winner.

IT Project Management Office / Office of the CIO

Support execution of critical projects through a structured project management framework.

Oversee the successful completion by working with client resources, vendors, and consultants.

IT Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integrations

Set strategy and oversee integration of all IT‑related aspects of a merger or acquisition.

Combine infrastructure, applications, people, and process with a high‑intensity process.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand business objectives, technology challenges, and opportunities.

Develop and deliver technology roadmaps and implementation plans.

Provide guidance on IT governance, risk management, and compliance.

Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring on time, within scope, and within budget.

Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and digital transformation.

Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that meet client needs.

Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and senior management.

Prep and present reports, proposals, and strategic recommendations.

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

At least five (5) years of technology consulting experience, including IT due diligence, IT project management, or similar role servicing private equity clients.

Experience with Manufacturing & Distribution clients is a plus.

Previous data analytics experience required.

Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, software development, and digital transformation.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and strategic thinking.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, COBIT) are a plus.

Hybrid or Remote work arrangement.

25-50% travel required.
