Senior Technical Solution Manager - Supply Chain Planning , you will partner with multiple Supply Chain organizations to lead and drive system and process initiatives to enable the increasing scale and growth of Microsoft Cloud.

Responsibilities

Lead cross‑functional transformation of Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP).

Drive maturity in transformation processes and governance across Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) and other organizations.

Improve the ability to deliver business‑critical needs in an agile and timely manner with high quality, working with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Ensure business ownership and approval for system improvements that affect MCP.

Measure and improve the ability to deliver on cross‑functional transformation programs.

Articulate business requirements and impact for transformation programs and projects.

Contribute to development of all steps of the development/deployment process: needs/opportunity identification, impact quantification, requirements generation, key design decisions, user acceptance testing, coordination of subject matter experts, and sign‑off of deliverables.

Provide industry best‑practice knowledge for process and system approaches in areas such as forecasting, capacity planning, hardware demand planning, inventory buffering, supply planning, and long‑range planning.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering

OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering

OR equivalent experience.

4+ years experience in Supply Chain systems.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. The position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Continuous Improvement certification, Lean Six Sigma certification, or equivalent.

Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or equivalent.

Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci Certification).

12+ years of leading cross‑functional transformation including Supply Chain systems and process re‑engineering.

Experience with implementing solutions involving Data Science, Operations Research, Machine Learning, or other Math Models in a Supply Chain or operations environment.

2+ Years experience in Data Center, Server, or Cloud Capacity Planning.

Supply Chain transformation experience Project/Program Management experience managing the implementation of Supply Chain Systems projects.

Experience in Capacity Planning and/or Supply Chain Management, with an understanding of different supply chain models.

Proficiency in Enterprise Planning systems (such as SAP, Oracle, E2Open, etc.) and business intelligence engines (SQL, Power Business Intelligence (BI), Power Pivot, Tableau, etc.).

Experience in driving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation.

Lean Six Sigma APICS Certification.
