Overview

Navy Federal Credit Union seeks a highly skilled and experienced Business System Analyst III to join our dynamic team within the Lending division. In this senior role you will partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, design and implement technical solutions, and promote process improvements across the enterprise. Your strong analytical skills and knowledge of industry best practices will enable technology-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency and empower our teams.

Responsibilities

Evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze information, requirements, data, and processes to define metrics and standards. Gather stakeholder needs using elicitation techniques and define technical designs for data, workflow, and system integration. Identify and document business requirements and recommend workflow improvements. Coordinate integration of solutions, resolve conflicts, and maintain compatibility with existing applications. Develop and document adjustments to workflows and test plans, ensuring acceptance of delivered solutions. Lead project teams, assure quality, meet schedules, and resolve highly technical and complex problems. Mentor less experienced staff and serve as change management lead for the business unit. Perform root cause analysis, recommend business solutions, and research emerging technologies to align with business goals. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Experience leading large projects/initiatives with business risk and impact. Experience guiding and coaching professional staff. Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑Up, Review, Retrospective, Release Planning). Significant experience in problem resolution, root cause determination, and collaborative work teams. Advanced research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills and advanced organizational, planning, and time‑management skills. Advanced skill interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of information and identifying and analyzing business requirements. Should have commercial or business banking domain knowledge. Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
