About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Project Sales Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, project management, and technical understanding of industrial engineering solutions, with a passion for developing tailored solutions for clients. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, developing client relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to understand client needs and translate them into business opportunities. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for industrial engineering solutions Design, implement, and continuously improve a structured sales process to support scalable growth and pipeline management Identify key market opportunities and new business prospects in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, energy, and infrastructure. Perform competitive analysis and market research to understand industry trends, customer requirements, and positioning of our solutions. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing clients. Engage with clients to identify their project needs and propose tailored engineering solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations. Work closely with the technical team to scope out project requirements, including budgets, timelines, and deliverables. Lead the creation of detailed and persuasive project proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimations, and timelines. Present proposals and solutions to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of the proposed engineering solutions. Coordinate with internal engineering teams to ensure project specifications are accurately translated into actionable deliverables. Oversee the execution of the project, from initial concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and quality standards. Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client communications, and project status. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management. Track and manage budgets for sales-related activities and ensure compliance with company policies. Work closely with the marketing team to create collateral and campaigns that align with sales efforts. Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in business development, engineering or related field. A masters degree is a plus. Experience: minimum of 5 years of experience in a project sales role preferably within the industrial engineering or technical solutions sector. Proven track record of success in sales, including achieving or exceeding targets. Strong experience in managing complex, large-scale projects Great communication skills, verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications
PE license Familiarity with the industry Essential Functions
