Position Overview The Director of Financial Planning will oversee wealth management and financial strategy across multiple entities, ensuring effective investment oversight, estate planning coordination, risk management, and financial reporting. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to ownership and leadership, aligning financial strategies with long‑term organizational and family objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor long‑term wealth management and financial strategies across multiple entities
Oversee investment strategies, portfolio performance, and risk management processes
Partner with tax, legal, and estate planning professionals to ensure integrated financial planning
Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to ownership and leadership teams
Manage cash flow planning, liquidity, and capital allocation across entities
Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide recommendations
Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with external advisors, banks, and investment partners
Lead and mentor accounting/finance staff to support financial objectives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CFA/CPA/CFP designation preferred)
10+ years of progressive experience in wealth management, investment strategy, or financial planning, preferably with exposure to multi‑entity organizations
Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio management, estate planning, and risk mitigation
Proven ability to collaborate with executives, ownership, and external advisors
Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills
