A leading, diversified commercial real estate and investment organization is seeking an accomplished

Vice President of Finance

to serve as its senior financial executive. This individual will oversee all aspects of financial strategy, reporting, and performance across a portfolio that includes large-scale real estate developments, operating companies, and investment entities. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals, balancing growth, profitability, and risk. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on capital allocation, financial planning, and investment opportunities. Lead capital formation efforts, including debt, equity, and structured financing for development projects and acquisitions. Provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making for investments, divestitures, and portfolio optimization. Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities and investment vehicles. Implement best practices for entity structuring, intercompany transactions, and tax planning. Manage preparation of consolidated financial statements, audits, and regulatory filings. Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across development, operations, and investment functions. Evaluate business performance, identify key drivers of variance, and recommend corrective actions. Build and maintain pro forma models to support deal evaluation, project feasibility, and strategic planning. Operational & Business Oversight

Partner with business unit leaders to align operational goals with financial performance. Establish KPIs to monitor profitability, cash flow, and return on investment. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial transparency. Develop and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and risk management frameworks. Oversee liquidity management, credit exposure, and enterprise risk mitigation. Lead due diligence for new acquisitions, partnerships, and capital investments. Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and grow the finance, accounting, and compliance teams. Promote collaboration and accountability across business lines. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and financial discipline. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within commercial real estate, development, or investment environments. Proven success managing complex financial structures and multi-entity organizations. Strong expertise in financial modeling, capital markets, and real estate finance. Exceptional analytical, strategic, and communication skills. Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Excel-based modeling tools. Strategic and analytical thinker with a results-driven mindset. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Skilled in balancing long-term vision with operational execution. Excellent relationship builder and cross-functional collaborator.
