Location Hybrid – Washington, DC area.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of cost and pricing proposals in support of defense contracts.

Conduct advanced cost and price analyses, including labor, material, subcontract, ODCs, and indirect cost assessments.

Develop and review complex Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Cost Volumes, and other pricing documentation in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards.

Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Contracts teams to gather technical and cost inputs.

Analyze and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring cost submissions are responsive, competitive, and compliant.

Present pricing strategies, risk assessments, and recommendations to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

7–10+ years of progressive experience in cost estimating or pricing within a government contracting environment.

In‑depth understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

Demonstrated experience leading pricing for large, complex proposals ($>50 M), including Cost‑Plus, T&M, and Firm‑Fixed‑Price contracts.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and pricing tools; familiarity with ProPricer, Costpoint, or similar pricing software.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if required).

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or MBA in Finance, Business, or related field.

Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

Experience supporting proposals under CAS‑covered and EVMS‑reporting contracts.Experience developing pricing for subcontractor cost analysis and commercial item determinations.

Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a pricing or estimating function.
