This team plays a crucial role in achieving Walmart/VIZIO's strategic goals by developing scalable and reliable software solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will significantly impact our mission to deliver innovative products and services.

What You'll Do

Estimate and complete assigned features from requirements through delivery.

Identify and troubleshoot logic, design, and concurrency issues.

Create and update architecture, design documents, and behavioral tests.

Promote robust software practices like unit and integration testing, code review, and documentation.

Introduce new ideas to improve customer user experience.

Collaborate with software engineers, product management, and business teams.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

At least 3+ years of professional software development experience.

Experience in Python and C++.

Proven experience developing and debugging software in embedded systems.

Experience developing on Linux platforms.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle ambiguity and change.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

A deep curiosity and understanding of how things work “under the hood.”

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year’s experience in software engineering or related area. Experience with inclusive digital experiences, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
