Role Overview Our client, a large and well-established company in the retail sector, is seeking a
Compliance Director
to lead compliance operations across its U.S. distribution centers. This role is especially focused on managing chargebacks and ensuring alignment with specialty and department store partners such as Walmart, Kohl's, and TJX. The position is based full-time in
Miami, FL , and
relocation support is available .
Responsibilities
Oversee chargeback review and dispute resolution with major retail accounts.
Ensure distribution centers meet evolving customer compliance standards.
Review weekly audit reports and implement corrective actions.
Negotiate with retail partners regarding invalid chargebacks.
Prepare monthly chargeback summary reports for executive leadership.
Stay current on retailer compliance policies and communicate updates internally.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in compliance, logistics, or retail operations.
Proven track record managing chargebacks with major retailers (e.g., Walmart, Kohl's, TJX).
Bachelor's degree or relevant compliance background.
Experience working in large corporate environments.
Familiarity with key retail accounts and their operational standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Background in fashion or apparel.
Experience with department store operations.
Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
