Senior Solution Architect (Security and Compliance)
Join our **JourneyTeam** as a Senior Solution Architect to lead secure, scalable Microsoft solutions for our clients. This leadership role focuses on design, mentorship, and strategic initiatives within our Security & Compliance practice.
Base Pay Range $120,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 solutions including Identity & Access Management, Security & Compliance, Exchange Online, and Intune.
Serve as a technical lead on Security and Compliance projects, providing strategic guidance and hands‑on expertise.
Conduct security assessments and implement Zero Trust Architecture methodologies.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior consultants.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend best practices.
Partner with Project Managers to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Manage tasks and backlogs across multiple engagements.
Stay current on Microsoft trends and industry best practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Identity & Access Management, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.
Proficient in PowerShell (Entra, Microsoft Graph, Exchange Online, Security & Compliance modules).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and mentor team members.
Analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting and business analysis skills.
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals & Administrator Expert Cert (preferred).
Information Protection & Compliance Administrator Associate Cert (preferred).
Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC‑200) (preferred).

30‑Days : Learn internal processes and project methodology; assigned to 2‑3 technical projects; 50% client time.
60‑Days : Assigned to 3‑5 technical projects; 65% client time; begin leading client discussions.
90‑Days : Assigned to 5+ technical projects; 75‑80% client time; identified as Project Lead; assigned to Zero Trust Architecture project.
Location & Remote Policy While remote work is available, preference will be given to candidates based in Utah who can regularly commute to our Draper office. In‑person collaboration supports new hire success and strong team connections.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary range of $120,000 – $150,000 plus a performance‑based bonus program. Eligibility tied to individual contributions and company performance. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, dental, 401(k) with 4% match, flexible time off, paid parental leave, monthly phone stipend, and gym membership reimbursement up to $200.
