As a
Security Professional Armed Chemical Patrol
in
Cameron, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more.
As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in deterring security‑related incidents at a major chemical and petrochemical location.
Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.
This is an armed and driving post, where your professionalism and dedication will contribute to a secure environment for all.

What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including the business premises and perimeter areas.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security‑related concerns or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities when necessary to support security‑related operations and emergency response.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security‑related threats and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors.
What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
Possess a valid TSA‑issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security‑related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
