Security Professional – Armed Patrol Specialist Allied Universal® offers a rewarding career as a Security Professional – Armed Patrol Specialist. You will serve clients in chemical and petrochemical environments, deterring incidents and maintaining visible security presence.

Position Type: Part‑time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Schedule: Daytime, Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Claim open shifts at client sites using our proprietary scheduling platform.

Support operations across commercial real estate, healthcare, and education environments.

Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.

Fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities in a chemical or petrochemical environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access while maintaining a visible armed presence.

Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client‑specific requirements.

Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergency situations.

Maintain awareness of hazardous materials and potential risks associated with the location, complying with all site‑specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of security‑related experience.

At least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
