Residential QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional)
Vacancy at Vista Care. Base pay $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
Responsibilities
Lead interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
Oversee Residential Shift Supervisors (RSS) and provide training.
Advocate for individuals, ensuring right to self-advocacy and independence.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, state and federal requirements.
Maintain accurate records, complete monthly reviews and data collection.
Collaborate with community partners, state partners, and families.
Facilitate admissions, discharges, and ongoing program documentation.
Serve as main point of contact for families, guardians, and agencies.
Assist with on-call support and crisis management as needed.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current QIDP certification and QIDP Trainer certification required within 6 months.
1+ years supporting individuals with disabilities; 2+ years as DSP preferred.
3+ years experience as direct supervisor preferred.
Valid driver’s license, caregiver background check, and BQM QIDP approval.
College/university degree in human services field or equivalent.
CPR certification preferred.
Knowledge of CMS HCB waiver, medication administration rule, and related regulations.
Critical thinking, effective decision making, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, confidentiality.
Proficiency with computer technology and electronic record software.
Adaptability to organizational changes and willingness to be a change agent.
Scope of Supervision
Directly supervises Residential Shift Supervisors (RSS).
Working Conditions
Must lift at least 50 pounds regularly; variable hours including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
Work in residential settings, travel to programs as assigned.
On-call support may be required.
