We’re excited to announce that Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF) is seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to serve as our Executive Director!
As BIFF enters its third decade, this role offers a unique opportunity to guide and grow one of the region’s premier independent film festivals.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategy, operations, and public representation of BIFF
Oversee festival planning, year‑round programming, marketing, and communications
Lead fundraising, grant writing, and donor/sponsor cultivation
Manage financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting
Supervise staff, interns, volunteers, and seasonal teams
Cultivate relationships with community, media, industry partners, and festival stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in film, event production, nonprofit, or festival operations
Strong track record in leadership, fundraising, budgeting, and team building
Passion for independent film and arts programming
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive under deadlines and manage multiple projects
Residency in Beloit, WI preferred but not required depending on candidate circumstances
