Vice President - CIB Credit - Power & Renewables, TD Securities New York, New York, United States of America 40 hours per week

Job Summary TD Securities is seeking a Vice President to lead credit transactions and support the Corporate & Leveraged Finance teams in the Power & Renewables sector. The role involves originating financing transactions, overseeing research and analysis, and collaborating with investment banking, debt capital markets, and equity capital markets teams.

Responsibilities

Lead due diligence and structuring for complex bank financing transactions.

Negotiate and interact with senior finance professionals at clients’ businesses.

Oversee research and analysis of clients’ financial performance.

Build in-depth knowledge of industry trends and capital structures.

Construct detailed financial models and covenants.

Collaborate with Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, and derivatives to capture cross‑sell opportunities.

Prepare and recommend high‑quality credit submissions, either as a group leader or an individual contributor.

Participate in project working groups and internal/external committees.

Compile reports on business trends, risks, and losses, and recommend management action to reduce exposure.

Depth & Scope

Seasoned specialist requiring deep knowledge of risk management for a large, complex business.

Lead a group of specialists/analysts or serve as an individual contributor for a multi‑jurisdiction business.

Participate in project working groups and external committees in a major risk category.

Work with regulators and support units to address business issues.

Compile aggregate reports on risks and losses; recommend actions to mitigate exposure.

Manage relationships and meet with senior management, including overseeing risk committees.

Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting, Finance) or Mathematics/Economics.

Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses.

5-7 years of related experience.
