Marchon Partners Hybrid onsite 3 days/week in Boston, MA – 6+ month contract. Using discretion and judgment, the Business Systems Sr Analyst develops technology solutions that address business needs. They independently meet with project stakeholders and business partners to elicit and gather business requirements, develop formal specifications, and collaborate with internal IT resources to design, test, and deploy solutions following the organization’s SDLC. Responsibilities

Perform business activity analysis to determine requirements and convert complex business needs into functional user stories and detailed specifications. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technology organization to ensure proper implementation of requirements within the expected timetable. Collaborate on systems scope and objectives based on user needs and applicable business systems and industry requirements. Ensure proper data processing using data checks and reports to facilitate error‑free business processes. Aggregate and integrate data from multiple sources to enhance the value of business analytics. Uphold and improve data accessibility, quality, and integrity standards. Oversee the implementation of new data products and solutions, creating and maintaining proper training materials and business documentation. Follow the organization’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that all steps of the process have been followed prior to releasing any code. Provide application and production support as needed to the departments and systems that they support. Provide guidance to less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, computer science, or technology related field. Minimum of 2‑5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally supporting buy‑side technology. Solid knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives asset classes. Demonstrated strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of investment data. Proven ability to efficiently utilize resources and communicate with others, both verbally and in writing. Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions. A firm understanding of systems development lifecycle and Agile framework. Proven ability to develop creative solutions to meet business needs. Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with investment management platforms like Charles River, Eagle, and IBOR technologies. Prior project experience with Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure is desired. Senior level: Mid‑Senior level | Employment type: Contract | Job function: Information Technology
