About The Role As an Account Executive, you will drive new customer growth for Workday’s Medium Enterprise sales organization. You will guide prospects on how to replace legacy platforms with Workday’s enterprise management cloud and partner with customers to deliver long‑lasting value.
Responsibilities
Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory
Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and shares Workday value propositions
Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data
Qualifications
4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C‑levels from a field sales position
4+ years experience negotiating deals with a variety of C‑Suite Executives to close opportunities
4+ years experience engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory
Proven track record in a high‑velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities
Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts
Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay Transparency The annualized base salary range for the primary location Boston, MA is $137,300 – $167,800. The role may also be eligible for a Workday bonus plan, a commission/bonus, and annual stock grant refresh. Additional US locations have the same base pay range.
Flexible Work Workday offers a hybrid model. You are expected to spend at least 50% of your time in the office or in the field each quarter. Remote work is possible for eligible positions and includes occasional office meetups.
