Position Summary The Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of leasing and marketing at a leased property. Working closely with the Community Manager, the Leasing Manager sets leasing goals, develops strategic marketing plans, leads the leasing team, and ensures positive resident relations.

Responsibilities

Lead the leasing team to achieve budgeted occupancy and closing ratios.

Develop and execute marketing campaigns, design outreach, and maintain the annual marketing plan and budget.

Audit all lease files, maintain accurate reporting systems, and ensure compliance with policies.

Manage resident retention programs, resolve resident complaints, and promote resident satisfaction.

Supervise leasing events, monitor leasing and renewal progress, and support the Community Manager in staffing decisions.

Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, market conditions, and competition by completing weekly market survey reports.

Provide excellent customer service and monitor maintenance service requests for timely resolution.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

One year of experience in the housing industry or comparable experience.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with on‑site software functions.

Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to stand or sit for prolonged periods, communicate with others, and perform repetitive motions.

Frequently required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and scaffolding, operate motor vehicles or golf carts, and move about to accomplish tasks.

Occasionally required to lift objects up to 25 lbs, operate machinery or power tools, work overtime, weekends, night hours, and in outdoor environments including extreme temperatures and hazardous chemicals.

Compensation Salary Range: $18 per hour to $23 per hour.
