Senior Key Account Manager Manage an assigned group of accounts with the primary responsibility to create value for customers through technical service, identify new product opportunities, and sell to existing customers. Focus on maintaining revenue, price capture, and improving gross profit. May work on new business where appropriate but this is not the primary assignment.
General Scope Manages an assigned account or group of accounts, creates value for assigned customers through technical service, identifies new product opportunities, and sells to existing customers. A Sales Service Professional’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture, and improve gross profit. May work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.
Responsibilities
Maintain and build assigned business relationships
Review treatment programs and processes within territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.
Conduct necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand overall operations of territory plants and new customer sites.
Sell new business and new applications in territory – develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities.
Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable).
Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree). Will consider experience in lieu of a technical degree.
5+ years industry experience (pulp & paper or water treatment preferred).
Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems.
Project management of complex projects.
Strong relationship management skills.
Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them.
Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports.
Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using a consultive sales process.
Must be able to pass screenings (drug screen, background check and physical) and have a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
Work Environment
Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee could be faced with working in temperature extremes.
Employee must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful.
Use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S Monitor as required.

Salary The expected compensation range for this position is between $91,800.00 and $153,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
