Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service provided; identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Sales Service Professional’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility. Knowledge

Requires extensive knowledge in specialized functions. A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects and the technical phases of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Job complexity

Usually works without established procedures, performing a wide variety of nonstandard complex tasks using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of discipline. Analyzes requirements for special projects and recommends methods and processes to accomplish. Supports the design/development of new or modified equipment or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out. Evaluates and resolves calibrating and troubleshooting problems. Leads and mentors others and lower level employees; may assign work and schedule workflow. Impact

Impact of work is significant to the assigned area. Erroneous work could result in failure to achieve schedule and potentially affect mission success. What You’ll Do

Maintain and build assigned business relationships Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts, ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring, resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention Conduct necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of territory plants and new customer sites Sell new business and new applications in your territory — develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable) Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree). Experience in lieu of a technical degree will be considered 1–3 years industry experience (pulp & paper or water treatment preferred) Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems Project management of complex projects Strong relationship management skills Ability to learn new concepts and/or technology and apply them Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports Experience working with multiple levels in an organization to achieve results Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience using a consultative sales process Must be able to pass screenings (drug screen, background check and physical) and have a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record General Work Environment

Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. May be exposed to temperature extremes. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds; manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude are helpful. Use of safety equipment includes hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitor as required. Perks
