The Department of Economics at Texas Christian University (TCU) invites applications for three tenure-track positions at either the Assistant or Associate Professor level as part of a cluster hire beginning August 2026. All Ph.D. requirements should be complete by August 2026. Departmental representatives will conduct virtual interviews. Finalists will be invited to campus for in-person visits. Department Details
TCU is a private research university, and the Department of Economics is part of the AddRan College of Liberal Arts that emphasizes the ideals of a liberal arts education and a teacher-scholar model with a 3/2 course load. Students are encouraged to explore alternative points of view and to develop the tools necessary for independent analysis. We place a strong value on excellence in teaching and mentoring. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute in the area of quantitative economics at the undergraduate and, possibly, the Master\'s level.
