As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract actionable insights, build predictive models, and support data-driven decision-making. This role blends statistical expertise, programming skills, and business acumen to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize data science models, algorithms, and analytical solutions to support business initiatives.
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines leveraging Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data-driven insights.
Perform advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning to solve complex business problems.
Work with structured and unstructured datasets to derive meaningful insights.
Optimize data storage, processing, and querying performance in Snowflake and other cloud environments.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure quality and usability.
Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in large datasets.
Design and implement machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, NLP) to support forecasting and decision-making.
Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, etc., to communicate findings.
Develop scripts and tools to automate data processing and model deployment.
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to align data initiatives with strategic goals.
Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in data science and apply them to business challenges.
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, engineering, or a related field with 7+ years’ hands‑on experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar data‑focused role.
Required Skills
Proficient in Python, SQL and data science libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, etc.) for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
Strong expertise with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and performance optimization.
Experience with Data Analysis, ML, Data Visualization, and Data Modelling.
Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and machine learning.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake) and data modeling.
