Our client in North Tonawanda, NY is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team! Our partner is a leading provider of shock and vibration solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team growing in the field of aerospace and defense.

This is an onsite/ full-time/ direct-hire position

Salary based on experience: $65k-$100k

Job Duties:

• Support and improve existing production processes through hands-on shop floor engagement.
• Perform root cause / corrective action
• Ability to drive/lead CI projects.
• Lean concepts including flow, work cell layout, workload balancing, & standard work.
• Experience with APQP / PPAP / PFMEA / DFMEA .
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives across engineering teams.
• Project management

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• All applicants must be U.S.
• Manufacturing Experience to include some Aerospace and some other Environments and Markets.

Skills:

• Knowledge of fixturing and fixture design
• Proficient in working in CAD (Solidworks )
• Ability to read and produce detailed technical drawings (ASME Y14.5)
• Experience with assemblies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience with complex assemblies
• Proficient in working in an ERP system
