About the Role Sanofi’s contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst II (Material Planner Contractor) for a 12‑month onsite contract role at either our Framingham or Northborough site in Massachusetts. In this critical position, you will support the Massachusetts Bio Campus (MBC) by managing raw materials and packaging components to ensure smooth production operations. You will oversee supply chain activities related to planning, purchasing, and inventory management within a GMP‑regulated environment. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, process‑oriented, and capable of independently leading initiatives or collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Demand Management
Ensure raw material availability for both commercial and qualification production needs
Optimize inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs
Implement global supply chain strategies at the site level using advanced planning tools
Inventory Management & Analysis
Monitor and control inventory to avoid stockouts or excess material buildup
Coordinate purchase order delivery timelines with suppliers and expedite when necessary
Identify and resolve inventory‑related challenges (e.g., slow‑moving items, overstock)
Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to balance cost‑efficiency with material readiness
Supplier Management
Support or lead material planning efforts for new product introductions and critical materials
Build and maintain long‑term supplier relationships
Project Management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations
Act as liaison between MBC and the EVF/Singapore site for shared material supply
Manage vendor lead time accuracy and prevent disruptions
Assist with label and pack scheduling
Track and report project progress to stakeholders and management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain
3+ years of professional experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, including supply chain or material planning, purchasing/sourcing of raw materials, inventory management and optimization, and using SAP for supply chain operations
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and MS Project
Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and reporting to senior leadership (2+ years)
Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
