Company Description University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), part of the UMMS network, is seeking a passionate, skilled, and team‑oriented OBGYN Laborist to join our growing team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This position focuses exclusively on hospital‑based obstetric care within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Job Description
24‑hour in‑house shifts that support continuity of care and promote work‑life balance.
Well‑staffed model featuring Certified Nurse Midwives, OB Hospitalists, 24/7 in‑house Anesthesiology, and dedicated Pediatrics/Neonatology support.
Robust back‑up call system for emergencies.
Remote fetal monitoring to enhance safety and flexibility.
Access to surgical backup and subspecialty care.
Opportunities to teach, mentor, or engage in quality improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Strong interest in hospital‑based care and a team‑first mindset.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Commitment to high‑quality, evidence‑based medicine.
