Role Description Windchill PLM Solution Architect UST is searching for a Windchill PLM Solution Architect who will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
The Opportunity
Lead the implementation, customization, and integration of PTC Windchill across the enterprise.
Define Windchill data models, lifecycles, workflows, and version control strategies. Guide the team on Windchill upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.
Integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems like ERP (SAP/Oracle), CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and third‑party applications.
Ensure adherence to PLM best practices, security policies, and compliance standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and system administrators.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Windchill infrastructure, performance, and integrations.
Stay updated on the latest PTC Windchill features and industry trends.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What You Need
Minimum 8 years of experience in PLM systems, with at least 5 years in PTC Windchill.
Strong expertise in Windchill modules such as PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, Windchill Parts and Documents, and the architect and design of scalable Windchill PLM solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Role Location Remote
Compensation Range $109,000–$164,000
Benefits Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Employees are eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching, as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additional benefits include short‑ and long‑term disability, voluntary short‑term disability, health savings account (HSA), and flexible spending account (FSA) as allowed under IRS guidelines.
