Under supervision of the Social Service Supervisor, assist in recruiting and enrolling eligible families for the Prekindergarten/Head Start program. Develop, monitor, and provide follow up to implement Family Partnership Agreements (FPAs) for Head Start families. Maintain computer database to track contacts with families and progress toward goals in the FPA, and to generate monthly reports. Coordinate access to community resources and follow-up. Provide crisis intervention when necessary. Plan and implement parent training sessions in areas such as literacy, violence prevention, and child development. Maintain confidential family records. Provide other support services when necessary. Certificate, License
Possession of a valid Maryland noncommercial Class-C driver’s license. Job Specific Information
Candidates will work in the newly established Judy Center Early Learning Hub at Galway Elementary School. The wage range for this position is between $23.61 and $33.25 per hour, based on years of service.
