About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Project Engineer
to join our multifamily construction team on a
podium-style development
in Dallas, Texas. This role will provide critical project support through coordination, documentation, and communication between field operations, project management, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and passionate about construction excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the
Project Manager
and
Superintendent
in coordinating daily construction activities and ensuring work aligns with plans and specifications.
Manage and track
RFIs, submittals, change orders, and drawing updates
through project management software (e.g., Procore).
Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, logs, and schedules.
Review and distribute
project drawings and specifications
to field and subcontractor teams.
Support the
project schedule
by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and assisting with recovery plans.
Coordinate and communicate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve field conflicts.
Assist in managing
quality control , ensuring installations meet design intent and standards.
Track
material deliveries
and verify quantities against purchase orders.
Participate in
project meetings
and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
Support
project closeout , including punch list tracking, as-built documentation, and O&M manual compilation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
1–2 years
of experience in commercial or multifamily construction (podium or mixed-use experience preferred).
Familiarity with
Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office .
Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to task management.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
