Senior Consultant, Readiness and Requirements

Overview Solution Deployment and Services (SDS) Readiness ensures the Implementation and Service and Support organizations are effectively prepared for all new product and software releases. The Sr. Consultant drives SDS strategic direction, leads readiness projects, and collaborates cross‑functionally to deliver readiness through planning, scheduling, and execution.
Responsibilities
Strategic planning and execution for SDS organization; articulate needs beyond function.
Partner with platform to define detailed scope items and roadmap for future versions.
Develop comprehensive readiness plans meeting business objectives and customer expectations.
Manage multiple new product and sustaining release projects using project management methodologies.
Lead development of project charters, plans, schedules; manage budgets and communication plans.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams to drive SDS readiness activities and processes.
Provide leadership, develop high‑performing extended team, set goals and conduct reviews.
Communicate recommendations, manage stakeholder impact, deliver presentations.
Leverage technical skills (Agile, LEAN, Six Sigma) to contribute to process improvement projects.
Build relationships across functions and business units, mentor colleagues on best practices.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in project management and/or process improvement.
Demonstrated experience developing and leading product strategy.
Strong matrix management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Agile® and forward‑thinking mindset.
Strong MS Office skills, advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
Previous readiness experience highly desired.
Experience with SaaS/IaaS product release or Microsoft Azure/AWS.
