Job Summary The Senior Consultant will lead and support Solution Deployment and Services (SDS) readiness initiatives, ensuring implementation and service support organizations are prepared for new product and software releases. The role is remote and involves driving strategic direction, leading cross‑functional projects, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Execution : Understand SDS organization needs beyond individual functions, articulate broad visions, and partner with platforms to define scope and roadmap items.
Project Management : Lead multiple new product and sustaining release projects using scope, tollgate, risk & change management; develop charters, plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
Readiness Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive implementation & support readiness plans aligned with business objectives.
Stakeholder Alignment : Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure alignment across products, and drive SDS readiness activities and processes.
Leadership & Coaching : Lead and develop high‑performing extended teams, set goals, provide performance feedback, and build a solid network across all levels.
Communication : Deliver concise presentations, articulate project impacts, and ensure timely training and knowledge transfer.
Technical Contribution : Apply Agile, LEAN, Six Sigma, CTQ, and data‑driven insights to identify readiness opportunities and build business cases.
Administrative Excellence : Efficiently use matrixed resources, mentor colleagues, complete documentation and training, and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience developing and leading product strategy.
Strong matrix‑management skills.
Agile mindset and forward thinking.
7+ years of project management and/or process improvement experience.
Experience managing cross‑functional projects in an iterative, fast‑paced environment.
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and facilitation abilities.
Knowledge of business operations and processes.
Preferred Skills / Experience
Previous readiness experience.
Experience in SaaS/IaaS product release or Microsoft Azure/Amazon Web Services.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $109,700.00 – $180,800.00 USD Annual.
Location USA – San Diego, Bldg A&B. Remote work is supported.
